About the Role
Turvo is seeking Content Marketing Specialist to join our central marketing team. Our ideal candidate will plan and execute a content strategy. Working with the Marketing Team, you will be responsible for creating, improving, and maintaining content to grow our audience, drive demand and lead generation, drive engagement, and build relationships.
Our ideal candidate is a highly analytical thinker with an audience-first mindset with demonstrable creative writing skills and ability to communicate effectively to a range of B2B segments. As a Content Marketing Manager, you should perform well under deadlines and be detail-oriented. If you are also an expert in content optimization and brand consistency, we would like to meet you.
This is a remote position based in the US. The successful candidate will work from home.
Oversee all content creation activities to drive demand & lead generation and engagement across marketing channels and platforms.
Work closely with the Brand Marketing team to devise a web content strategy that aligns with the company’s wider goals.
Oversee the social media teams to create and repurpose content for use across different social media channels.
Your duties will also include monitoring web traffic and metrics to identify best practices. Improvements to the content strategy should also be made as you analyze key website and social media metrics.
Use reporting metrics such as web analytics and content management systems to analyze website traffic and user engagement metrics to optimize content and make recommendations.
Create a content marketing calendar to ensure regular content is utilized across marketing channels throughout the year to drive measurable engagement and conversions.
Leverage and make improvements to existing editorial and social media calendars.
Create entertaining and informative search engine optimized copy that resonates with appropriate brand audience.
Keep up to date with industry best practice and monitoring content activities and those of our competitors.
Repurpose content for different mediums including social media and video.
Assist the social and marketing teams with optimizing copy used on social, emails, websites.
Update all sections of the website including homepage and all other categories.
Participate on-site at events to drive engagement through various marketing channels.
Optimize website content to ensure both search engine visibility and favorable user experience.
Getting as much mileage as we possibly can out of all conference and event content and repurposing it on the right mediums.
Coordinate with Conference team to recruit writers from pool of event speakers.
Manage editing, proofing and publishing of guest written content.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Marketing, Journalism or related field.
Highly articulate with an excellent command of written English.
Creative minded with an ability to conceive interesting ideas for new content.
Previous experience working as a content marketer or copywriter would be an advantage.
Ability to succeed in a in a fast-paced environment.
Agile and flexible with regards to changing priorities and business needs and in working with diverse teams and people.
Understanding of the value of data and insights, and ability to translate into initiatives.
Exceptional written communication skills, as well as the ability to problem-solve.
Self-motivated, and high energy.
Strong team-orientation and collaborative approach to work.
